Mr. Stephen Ryan Murray, age 34, of McCaysville passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home. He was born in Clayton County, GA. He worked as a carpenter and attended Salem #3 Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Racheal Denea Murray of the home; sons, Robert Anthony Murray of Woodstock, GA, Anthony James Fontenot of Woodstock, GA, and Derek Paul Fontenot of McCaysville, GA; daughters, Rebekka Dawn Murray of McCaysville, Bridget Leeann Murray of Woodstock, Jessica Jay Murray of Woodstock, and Samantha Rae Phillips of McCaysville; his mother, Glenda Jean Murray of McCaysville; his father, Stephen Douglas Sharp of Jonesboro, GA; brother, Noah Damien Howell of Macon, GA; two grandchildren, Jacob Phillips and Tabitha Phillips; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Mann officiating. Music was by Donald Ray Lunsford.
