Stanton Carl Dale, age 70, of Turtletown, TN passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. Mr. Dale was a native of Polk County, TN and was a son of the late Carl Dale and Bonnie Walker Cahill. He had worked as a Restaurant and Resort Manager and was of the Protestant Faith. He was a 1964 graduate of Copper Basin High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also preceded in death by sister, Louise Chancey and brother-in-law Norman Chancey; grandparents, John and Winnie Walker.He is survived by son Jonathan Dale, daughter-in-law,Christine Dale of Seattle, WA; sister, Cheryl Starke, brother-in-law, Richard Starke of Blue Ridge, GA, sister, Theresa Baird, brother-in-law, Chester Baird of Glencoe, AL; aunt, Elwanda Creighton and uncle-in-law, John Creighton of Hixson, TN; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill cemetery.
