The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Stanley E. Hall, age 85, of Old Fort, TN who passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011. Stanley was a born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Otis J. and Emily Allen Hall. He was retired as a Computer Systems Analyst with General Electric and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.He is survived by four sons, Lloyd Hall of Atlanta, GA, Terry Hall of Atlanta, GA, Bryan Hall of Tokyo, Japan and Jason Hall of Griffin, GA; brother, Rex Hall of Old Fort, TN; sisters, Lenore Owens of Chattanooga, TN, Martha Jane Raper of Cleveland, TN, Edna Buford of Rome, GA , Kathy Carruth of Turtletown, TN and Helen Brown of Crandall, GA. five grandchildren.A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
