Stanley Monroe "Mus" Dills, age 64, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1958, in Copperhill. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward "Tip" Dills; mother, Rebecca Deal Simonds; brothers, Mike Dills and Eddie Dills; maternal grandparents, Ira J. and Ida Deal; paternal grandparents, Burt Monroe and Rose Dills; aunt, Marie Dills; nephews, Joseph Dills and Charlie Dills; and great-niece, Eiron Welch.

Mus is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Jeff and Angela Dills, Susie Dills Payne and Jerry Parris, Carolyn and Marcus Ponton, and Charlene and Jeff Allen; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family also survive.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. David O'Neal officiating. Music was provided by Jennifer Dills, Charlie Farmer, and Renee Watkins. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
