Stacy Lynn Curtis, age 50, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on August 29, 2021 at his home. He was born in Copperhill, TN to the late Jerry and Teresa Hyde Curtis. Stacy was a lifelong member of Bethel Church where he served as a deacon for 23 years. He always put his family first and loved them endlessly. He enjoyed being outdoors, Jeep riding, mowing grass, and making people smile. Stacy was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. Stacy worked for Flowers Baking Company for 28 years serving the Ellijay area for the majority of his career. He was preceded in death by parents, and his father-in-law, Sam "Bud" Harris. Stacy is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sherry Harris Curtis of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jerrod and Whitley Curtis of McCaysville, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Kelsey and Brady Carver of Morganton, and Katie Curtis of Mineral Bluff; brother, Shawn Curtis of Mineral Bluff; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Rodger Keith of Mineral Bluff; grandson, Ian Carver; mother-in-law, Rosie Mae Harris of Mineral Bluff, GA; nephews, Jeremiah Keith and Talyn Curtis; niece, Emilee Godfrey; and five great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from Bethel Church with the Rev. Doug Payne and Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Music was provided by Rick Curtis, Jeremy Payne, and the Bethel Church Choir. Interment followed in the Bethel Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Monty Roberson, Butch Pittman, Rick Thomas, Stacey Howard, Robbie Locke, Talyn Curtis, and Jeremiah Keith.
