Shirley Juanita McKinney, age 75, of Eastpoint, FL passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. She was born in Blue Ridge, GA on November 17, 1939 to the late Grady Farmer and Esther Long Farmer. She worked as a seamstress for Levi Strauss and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Hyapatia Burrell and Brittany Dugan. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Perkins and husband Robert Perkins of Eastpoint, FL and Angela McKinney of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Wayne Farmer and wife Shelby Farmer of Clayton, GA; sister, Marie Rasista of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, Ashely Dugan of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Rusty Perkins of Maryville, TN; and great grandchildren, Bryson Davenport, Logan Davenport and Trenten Larch. Funeral services were held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Doug Pritchett and Wayne Farmer officiating. Pallbearers were Rusty Perkins, Kevin Cannon, Vince Beavers, Kyle Beavers, Randall Beavers, and Ronnie Beavers. Interment followed in Concord Cemetery.
