Sherry Maria Tanner Ray, age 71, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on March 27, 2021 in Blue Ridge, GA. She was born in Copperhill, TN on March 11, 1950 to the late Ralph Lee and Ann Evelyn Walden Tanner. She was a 1969 Graduate of West Fannin High School. Sherry was a loving soul and mother and adored all of her family. She was also a member of the Branch Baptist Church. Her sister, Denise Tanner precedes her in death. Survivors include her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dr.'s Michael S. and Jill Ray of Roswell, GA and Eric Jason Ray of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Ray Tanner; sisters, Pat Hubbard and Susan Tanner; grandchildren, Bearon Z. Ray, Jackson Ray and Dylan Ray; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial services in her memory will be hosted by the family at a later time.
