Mrs. Sherry Ann Ferguson, age 65, of McCaysville, GA, passed away on June 23, 2021 in Canton, GA. She was born in Copperhill, TN on March 14, 1956. Sherry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She along with her husband, of 47 years were members of the Hemptown Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping and going on trips to the beach. She also enjoyed sunbathing and listening to the birds while she had her morning coffee. Sherry will be deeply missed. Her mother, Eva Nell Kendall Panter precedes her in death. Survivors include her husband, Steve Ferguson of the home; son, Jeremy Ferguson; grandson, Adam Ferguson; father, Don Panter; sisters, Shelby (David) Powell and Sandra Sisson; uncle, Bob and wife Lisa Kendall; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Larson, Donald Powell, Joseph Sisson and Ryan Larson. The family will host a graveside memorial service on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hemptown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Whitener officiating.
