Ms. Shelley Stillwell Duffey, age 56, of McCaysville, passed away on August 5, 2021 in Gainesville, GA. Shelley was a loving soul who always remained the same through out the years even after all of the tragedy and illness she faced during her life. In heaven she has joined her loving son, D.J. Duffey and mother, Freda Walden Stillwell who precedes her in death. Survivors include her daughters and one son-in-law, Sarah Duffey of McCaysville, GA and Meghan and Hutson Vann of Laramie, WY; father, Ray Stillwell of McCaysville, GA; brother, Jody Stillwell of Lincoln, VT; grandchildren, Karlyn Martin, Anestyn Martin, Roan Vann and Siler Vann; aunts and uncles, Laquita and Larry Dilbeck, Fred, Jr. and Phyllis Walden, Carol Gaguski and Sandy and Joy Walden; nieces and nephews, Creed Stillwell, Anna Stillwell and Beckett Stillwell; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. from the Bethel Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as pallbearers: Britton Quintrell, Marcus Head, Lee Ensley, Peyton Satterfield, Chad Walden and Jerrod Curtis.
