Mrs. Sharon Antonia Hamilton, age 70, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Pinesdale, MI, to the late Sylvester and Ann Laamanen Panian. The family and friends of Sharon celebrate her life as lived between November 9th, 1938 and April 11th, 2009. A life of wonder and adventure, starting in Michigan and continuing in California, The Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, Alaska, Brazil, Venezuela, and Georgia. A fruitful life with six children and six grandchildren. A blended life of arts, civics, sports, concern, generosity and special taste for fun and a gambling joy of chance.Call her Mother, Sister, and Wife, Call her Georgia's "Rose of Sharon"-a beauty beyond compare. Also, a special gratitude is extended to United Hospice for the care they provided.Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by a daughter, Darci Hamilton. Her survivors include, husband, George Hamilton of the home; one son, George Wayne Hamilton, III of Blue Ridge; five daughters, Paula Lacasse of Eagle River Alaska, Valerie Abramson of Mass City, MI, Marnie Fain of Blue Ridge and Greta Railsback of Belton, TX; one sister, Patricia Maginnis of South Range, MI and six grandchildren also survive. The family will visit with family and friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. in the Hamilton family cemetery.
