The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Sharon Dianne Jones, age 42, of Blue Ridge, Ga., who died Sunday, January 17, 2010. She was the daughter of Jimmy R. Jones and Loretta Carroll Jones, and she attended the Damascus Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, Jimmy Jones and Loretta (Carroll) Jones of Blue Ridge; one daughter, Clementyne Dianne Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; two sons, Aryan Dare Jones of Blue Ridge, GA, and Levy D'Artagnan Warren of Morganton, GA; two sisters, Teresa Postell of Blue Ridge, GA, and Joyce Warren of Dalton, GA; step-grandmother Dot Carroll of Blue Ridge, GA; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, with, Rev. Danny Collis officiating. The family will meet with friends in the Church Fellowship hall after the Graveside Service.
