Shana Ashley Entrekin, age 45, of Epworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Shana was born on October 9, 1979 in Lithia Springs, Georgia to John David Duncan and Blanche Elaine Caldwell Duncan. She spent her career with the United States Postal Service where she held multiple positions, starting as a mail carrier, then supervisor, and finally Postmaster at Kennesaw, GA.

She had a love for nature, watching birds and deer. Shana was a Christian and read her Bible daily. She found the love of her life with her husband David, spending time together, traveling, hiking to waterfalls, and dancing in the rain.

Her greatest love was for her children, Nathaniel and Natalie. She would talk on and on about them and how proud she was to be their mother. Love is not something you just say but show it and Shana made sure to always show her kids what love truly feels like.

She was preceded in death by her father, John David Duncan.

Shana is survived by her beloved husband, David Entrekin; children, Nathaniel Shaun Brock of Carrollton, GA and Natalie Shae Brock of Canton, Georgia; mother, Elaine Colburn of Panama City, FL; sister, Stacey Morehead (Jeremy) of Whitesburg, GA; and niece and nephew, Ray Morehead and Lillie Morehead of Whitesburg, GA.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Entrekin was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Pastor Robby Entrekin officiating. Interment followed in the Crestlawn Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Nathaniel Brock, Ray Morehead, Jeremy Morehead, Dawson Roberts, Blake Entrekin, and Phillip Duncan. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon, prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
