Mr. Scott Maurice Housley, age 46, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Housley worked many years as a concrete contractor. He was also a member of the Mobile Baptist Church and was a member of the Ocoee Lodge #201 F&AM. Mr. Housley was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Patterson Housley; and two grandparents, Jenis Mull and Hoyt Housley.Survivors include his wife, Misty Housley; two sons, Ezekiel and Kaden Housley; father, Dexter Housley; grandparents, Bob and Sue Thomas; brothers, Jeff Foster, Merle Perkins and Maurice Perkins; sisters, Deann Langley, Janna Spizzerre, Amanda Housley and Renee Graham; and many cousins other relatives also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday January 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Howard Galloway officiating. Music was provided by Edward Vest and Jan Pelfrey. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Scott Scearcy, Billy Thomas, Billy Bowers, William Barkley, Eddie Graham, Troy Harper, John Behrens, and Gwen O'Neal.
