Sandra Sue Starcher, 69, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away at her home on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Born on September 8, 1956, in Blue Ridge, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Cleaburn Wright and Mary Inez Thomas Wright. Devoted in the Baptist faith, Sandra was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church.

Sandra was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.


Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Keith Roberts.


She is survived by her children, Mindy Pollette (Anthony), Jason Starcher (Samira), Melissa Roberts (Richard), and Michelle Millsaps (Joshua); grandchildren, Christopher Meissner (Hollie), Kayla Meissner, Chasity Starcher, Joshua Starcher, Madalynn Sheriff, Joseph Starcher, Lukas Starcher, Josilynn Newton, Bailee "Emberlynn" Ledford, Liam Roberts, Hayden Roberts, and William Millsaps; great-grandchildren, Kahudda Meissner, Kameron Meissner, Kristopher Meissner, Karter Meissner, Aubrey Robinson, Cash Robinson, and Logan Roberts; brother, Franklin Wright (Gina); many extended relatives, and dear friends.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Robert Flowers officiating. Music will be provided by Charlotte Flowers. Interment will follow in the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Joshua Millsaps, Jason Starcher, Anthony Pollette, Christopher Meissner, Colton Major, and Jordon Wright. The family will visit with friends at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, Georgia on Friday, June 19, 2026 prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
