Mrs. Sandra Reed Spencer, age 71, formerly of Eufaula, AL passed away on March 3, 2014. She was born in Gainesville, GA to the late Ashbury Luther and Montine Cleghorn Reed. Mrs. Spencer had worked her whole career in Banking and Finance.Her survivors include her husband of 43 years, James W. Spencer of Mineral Bluff, GA; son, Jason J. Spencer of Atlanta, GA; sister, Barbara Benefield Gainesville, GA; and one niece, Sandy Ward Simmonds of Canton, GA.Graveside services will be on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Mt. Garner Cemetery at 1301 W. Main St. Decherd, TN 37324. The family will receive friends at the Akins Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at 7871 Blue Ridge, Dr. Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
