Obituary

Mrs. Sandra Jean (Golden) Peppers, age 65, of Talking Rock, GA, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, at her home. She was a native of Cherokee County, NC, daughter of the late Thomas Mitchell Golden and Mary Jane Clore Golden. Mrs. Peppers was a retired bus driver with the Cobb County School System and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Peppers and two grandchildren, Toby and Todd Peppers.She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lee Peppers of the home; three sons, Kerry Peppers of Talking Rock, GA, Britt Peppers (Michelle) of Talking Rock, GA, and Donnie Peppers (Tamara) of Canton, GA; one sister, Cathy Gilstrap (Mark) of Acworth, GA; three brothers, Harold Golden (Murlene) of Atlanta, GA, Earl Golden (Patricia) of Marble Hill, GA, Sterling Golden (Ellen) of Fairmount, GA; seven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at Akins Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 with Rev. Roy Clore and Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Interment was at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Culberson, N.C. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements. .
