Mrs. Sandra Cordell McDaniel, age 57, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Sunday October 17, 2010. Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Holbrook Cordell. She was a loving mother and grandmother and of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Newton Wilson, James Cordell, and Martha Wilson. Survivors include her sons, Charles "Tony" Morgan of Blue Ridge and David Morgan of Dalton, GA; daughter, Krystal Rhodes of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Christopher David Willis, Bryson and Bradley Setser, and "Toby" Deyton; sisters, Helen Ayers of McCaysville, GA Mary Jenkins of Ellijay, GA and Naomi Ratcliff of Blue Ridge.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday October 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rusty Thomas officiating. Music was by Ricky and Diane Morgan and Lawrence Davis. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff, Randy, Joe Dockery, David Love, Lynn Merrell and Ricky Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers were Ronald Wilkins, Jason Tanner, and Bobby Weeks.
