Sadie C. Galloway, age 71, of Cartersville, GA passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Mrs. Galloway was born in Fannin County, GA on January 25, 1942 to the late L.S. Norton and Grace Sluder Norton. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a grandson, J.C. Tant. She is survived by her husband, Howard Galloway; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Dawn Wilkins of Aragon, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dwayne Tant of Cartersville, GA; stepdaughters; Donna Fortner and husband Marvin Fortner of Copperhill, TN and Wanda Galloway of Harey, Montana; brother, Avery Norton of Kingston, GA; sister, Marlene Abernathy of Kingston, GA; eight grandchildren, Brian Wilkins, Kaitlin Wilkins, Christina Tant, Christopher Tant, Angel Webb, Lisa Barfield, Holly Barfield and Mary Brandenburg and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Frank Collis and Rev. Danny Queen officiating.
