Mrs. Ruth Jeanette Bell, age 79, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Mrs. Bell was born in Polk County,TN to the late Joseph Edgar and Louisa Hall Duvall. She was retired from the Morganton Manufacturing Plant where she had worked as a Seamstress. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Roy Duvall, and a sister, Dorothy Ballew.She is survived by sons, Terry (Brenda) Bell of Blue Ridge, GA, Dennis (Vickie) Bell of Gastonia, NC; brothers, Max Duvall of Cleveland, TN, Morgan Duvall of Murphy, NC; sisters, Lounell Hampton of Florida, Doris Pelfrey of Chattanooga, TN and Marie Tarpley of Murphy, NC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 9th at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Minister Dennis Morris officiating. Pallbearers include Adam Mathis, Adam Weaver, Richard Tanner, Zack Ratcliff, Wesley Duvall and Paul Murphy. Interment will follow in the Temple Baptist Church cemetery in Cherokee County, NC.
