Russell Brantley Lariscy, Sr, age 80, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. He was born in Sylvania, GA, on June 13, 1944, to the late Walstien "Bo" Lariscy and Elsie Claire Herrington Lariscy. He was a member of Blairsville Church of Christ. He worked for many years in automotive sales.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Morgan "Buddy" Lariscy and Becky Lariscy Bozard.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Laverne Pack Lariscy; children, Christopher Laverne Lariscy, Russell Brantley Lariscy, Jr. and his wife Jane, Trevor Chadwick Estus Lariscy and his wife Kristi, and Ansley Nicole Lariscy Loya and her husband Josh; grandchildren, Tyler Lariscy, Josh Lariscy, Victoria Lariscy, Tripp Lariscy, Aaron Lariscy, Mollie Lariscy, Morgan Lariscy, Hera Lariscy, Madison Bearden, Bryson Lariscy, Kaden Lariscy, Caysen Loya, and Kaylor Loya; great-grandchildren, Lily Lariscy, Mya Lariscy, Emmett Lariscy, Collins Bearden, and Joleigh Lariscy; sister, Wanda Hughes and her husband, Gerald; brother-in-law, Tommy Bozard; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Blairsville Church of Christ with Min. Terry Stuart and Min. Aaron Stanley officiating. The family visited with friends at the church on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the service hour of 4:00 PM.
