IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rudine Anne
Thrasher-Lee
March 17, 1937 – March 3, 2025
Rudine Anne Thrasher-Lee, a beloved matriarch known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, in Titusville, Florida. Born on March 17, 1937, in Wolf Creek, North Carolina, she carried a deep appreciation for nature and family throughout her life.
Rudine dedicated many years as a meticulous bookkeeper at a local bank, where her precision and attention to detail were highly valued. Her deep appreciation for nature led her to a fulfilling part-time role with the Department of Forestry, allowing her to blend her professional expertise with her passion for the outdoors.
Family was the heart of Rudine's world. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Roger Lynn Thrasher Sr., her devoted partner of 38 years, and James Lee, with whom she shared 12 cherished years. Her love and legacy live on through her children, Sandi McBride (Randy) and Roger Lynn Thrasher Jr (Tammy), as well as her late son, Larry David Thrasher. Rudine's greatest joy was her growing family, and she embraced her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother with boundless warmth and devotion. Her grandchildren—Roger Lynn Thrasher III (Heather), Derrick Stefan Thrasher (Melinda), Lauren Rachel Thrasher Enloe (Nate), Lars David Thrasher, David Scott Thrasher (Kelsie), and Morgan Castleman Thrasher—each held a special place in her heart, knowing they were deeply loved.
Her love was boundless, her kindness unwavering, and her presence a gift to all who knew her. Though she has left this world, her legacy of love, strength, and grace will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
