The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Ruby Jewell Kimsey, age 90, of Turtletown, TN, who passed away Tuesday, December 9th . Ruby was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was retired as a Cafeteria worker with the Broward County, Florida Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Jessie Hensley Mashburn and her husband, Howard Kimsey.She is survived by sons, Lex and wife, Bonnie Kimsey of Okeechobee, FL, Don L. "Bo" and wife, Beverly Kimsey of Anna Maria Island, Fl; daughter, Patty Sue and husband, Butch Johns of Pinson, AL; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 PM from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Glen Stiles officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
