Mrs. Ruby Leola Dills, 97 of Blue Ridge, Georgia died on Friday, May 18, 2012, at her home. Born Thursday, November 5, 1914 in Cherrylog, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dolpheus Watkins and the late Leolla Golden Watkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Dills. She was a member of Isabella Baptist Church. She was predeceased by sons, Billy Joe Dills and Jimmy Lynn Dills and brother, Earl Watkins. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Shirley Dills of Mineral Bluff, GA and Thurman and Linda Dills of Citrus Heights, CA, sister, Edna Gentry of Mims, FL; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dickey, Dr. Tom Jordan and Rev. Ricky Hicks officiating. Music was by Back to Bethany and Colby Ledford. Pallbearers were Rocky Dills, Jimmy Lynn Dills, Howie Dills, Terry Dills, Terry Dills, Zack Dills and Christopher Dills.
