Ruby Lee Allen Culbertson, age 71, of Copperhill passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at home. She was born on March 4, 1950 in Turtletown, TN to the late Wade Allen and Helen Henson Allen. Ruby was a twister operator at Shaw Industries. She was a member of the Word of God Tabernacle. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd Culbertson and daughter, Hope Allen Wood. Survivors are daughter, Bobbie Allen Mashburn (Jim Mashburn) of Copperhill, TN; son-in-law, Joe Wood of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Christina Mashburn Owens (David), Courtney Alisha Hamrick, Megan Dawn Mashburn (Rod Sabile), Emma Wood and Zachary Ryan Wood; great-grandchildren, Landin David James Owens and Briella Hope Postell; brothers, Richard Allen of Turtletown, TN and Randall "Cotton" Allen (Sharon) of Brasstown, NC; sister, Barbara Chadwick of Calhoun, GA and aunt, Lowanda Smith of Ducktown, TN also survived. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 11, 2021 from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Music will be by Christina Mortimer. Interment followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers were Derek Allen, Rod Sabile, Megan Mashburn, David Owens, James Thompson and Jose Gerena.
