Mrs. Ruby Louise Bledsoe, age 63, of Farner, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her home. She was born in Polk County on November 29, 1956, to the late Hoyt Burger and Emiline Farner Burger. Ruby was a member of Community Baptist Church. She worked for many years as the Produce Manager at Piggly Wiggly. She is also preceded in death by her grandchild, Spencer Dockery. Ruby is survived by her husband of 47 years, Earl Lee Bledsoe; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Lucas Dockery; grandchildren, Jacob Whitlow, Sydney Dockery, and Sawyer Dockery; brother, Roger Burger; and sister, Carolyn Dale. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music was provided by Victoria and Toby Hill. Interment followed in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery with Larry Farner, Jason Farner, Lucas Pack, Donnie Brown, Michael Brown, and Damian Brown serving as pallbearers. Jacob Whitlow served as an honorary pallbearer. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Friday Evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
