Roy Lee Stewart, age 77, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 23, 1941 in Rossville, GA to the late Chester Thorton and Mary Ward Stewart. He was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia, GA. He is preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Jo Huffman and Edna Earl Lord.He is survived by four brothers; Hubert (Macile) Stewart of Blue Ridge, W.C. (Cora) Stewart of Blue Ridge, Donald (Wanda) Stewart of Blue Ridge, and Jeff (Kathy) Stewart of Blue ridge; three sisters; Margaret (James) McGill of Blue Ridge, Linda (Kirby) Hollaway of Cherry Log, and Peggy (Lynn) Arrowood of Blue Ridge; and many nieces and nephews, friends, and other family members.A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the O'Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Pope officiating. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Jimmy Underwood, Jason Stewart, Randall McGill, Josh Holloway, Daniel Stewart, Darrell Stewart, and Derek Stewart.
