Mr. Roscoe Dar Lewis, age 83 of Ducktown, TN passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1928 to the late Dar and Sarah Hawkins Lewis. Mr. Lewis was retired pipefitter with the Tennessee Copper Company. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Waters Lewis of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Brenda Lewis, Terry and Darlene Lewis and Sam and Lora Lewis all of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Kenny Lewis of Pickens, SC; sister, Peggy Harper of Pickens, S.C; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services were conducted on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Interment followed in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Titus Pugh, Drake Pugh, Eric Jones, Eric Lackey, Ronnie Bauser, Jr. and Aaron Lewis.
