Ronnie Glen Smith, age 53, of Turtletown, TN passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Ronnie was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Ronald and Wilma Swanson Smith. He was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed working with livestock. He was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church and was an active member of the Copper Basin Riding Club. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty two years, Tammy Hughes Smith of the home; sons, Ronnie Smith, Jr and wife, Stacey, Jeremy Smith and fiance' Jessica Sneed and Cagney Hughes all of Turtletown,TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Sherry Smith and Johnny and Trish Smith all of Turtletown,TN; sister, Joyce Herring of Turtletown, TN; mother-in-law, Gloretta Hughes of Turtletown, TN; brother and sister-in-law, David and Rhonda Jarvis, of Turtletown, TN; grandchildren, Austin, Peyton and Adriana Smith all of Turtletown, TN; several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 2:00P.M. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Stephen Smith and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music was by Raven Welch. Pallbearers included Michael Worley, Ricky Cochran, Gary Crain, Randy Adcock, Sydney Jory and Jamie Jump. Honorary Pallbearers included Eric Smith, Jody Smith, Jonathan Smith, Keith Thomas, Scotty Hughes, Robert Odom and Dennis Loudermilk. Interment followed in the Zion Hill cemetery.
