Ronald "Ronnie" Lynn Towl, age 67 of Farner, TN passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, April 6, 1948 in Copperhill, TN to the late Dolphus and Frances Allen Towl. Ronnie was a truck driver for Polk County Road Department. He was of the Baptist Faith. Ronnie was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Rhonda Evon Towl; brother, Donald Ralph Towl and grandson, Jordan Picklesimer.Survivors are his wife of forty-eight years, Naomi Ledford Towl of the home; son, Russell Towl of Turtletown, TN; daughter, Heather Picklesimer of Copperhill, TN, sisters, Ervalene Dilbeck of Ducktown, TN, Peggy Ledford of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jimmie Ruth Boring (Kenneth) of Turtletown, TN, Katie Ensley (Gene) of Blue Ridge, GA, Mary Ensley (Benny) of Blue Ridge, GA, Janelle Millholland (James) of Morganton, GA and Ellie Hickey (Charles) of Turtletown, TN; two grandchildren, Cassie and Dakota Picklesimer also survive.Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Music will be by the Barker Family. Interment will follow on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Worthy, Hoyt Taylor, Ray Hamby, Randall Hamby, Kenny Morrow, Randy Raper, Jeff Hamby and Tom Stiles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Boring, Thurman Hamby, Laverne Jones, Jerry Griffith, Troy Dillard and Tim McArthur.
