Roger "Pick" Dale Picklesimer, age 61 of Copperhill, TN passed away at his home on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was born on March 10, 1965, in Copperhill, TN to the late H.A. and Ellen Picklesimer. Roger was a loving father who loved the outdoors, fishing, and gardening. He was a big Tennessee Fan. Roger is preceded in death of his parents, his brother, Benny Picklesimer and grandson, Jacob Brown.

Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Chasity Cuzzort of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Ted Taylor of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughter, Kimberly Green of GA; grandchildren, Zoey Bagget, Harley Cuzzort, Damian Brown, Kyndra Brown, Michael Brown, Dakota Brown, Heaven Taylor, Desirae Taylor, Angel Arsua, and Ashton Arsua; great-grandchildren, Camden Carver, Conner Guffey, Aiden Brown, Oakley Orr, and Charlotte Orr; special friends, Barbara and James Payne; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Johnnie Lee Pickelsimer; and brother, Bob Picklesimer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Ronnie Parris, Carol and Larry Newberry and Kathy and Dennis Whitener; a host of nieces and nephews also survived.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Joey Ensley officiating. Music will be by Hailey Ensley. Interment will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Cuzzort, Michael Brown, Tim Picklesimer, Rodney Picklesimer, Sam Parris, Cody Brown, Trig Parris, James Payne, and David Green. Honorary pallbearer will be Angel Arsua. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m.
