Mr. Roger Allen Dowlin, age 59, of Isabella, TN passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 in the Copper Basin Medical Center. He was born in Chester County, PA, the son of the late Elmer Dowlin. Mr. Dowlin was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill, TN and worked as the manager of Wholesale Electrical and Plumbing Supply in Murphy, NC. Survivors include his wife, Christine Dowlin of the home; children, Scot Dowlin of Isabella, TN, Michael Dowlin of Jasper, GA, Melissa Kitchen of Knoxville, TN, and Brittany Dowlin of Isabella, TN; eleven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; mother, Florence Ballentine Dowlin of Downingtown, PA; brothers, Kenneth Dowling of Las Vegas, NV, Edward Dowlin of Akron, PA, and Leonard Dowlin of Coatesville, PA; sisters, Catherine Dowlin of Downingtown, PA , Carol Dowlin of Thorndale, PA and Jeanette Dowlin of Acland, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive. Memorial Services will be Tuesday September 6th at 7:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill with Rev. David Anderson and Rev. Jennings Neeld officiating. Music will be provided by the Church Choir. The family will receive friends at the Church for one hour prior to the service.
