Roger Lee Cochran, age 67, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Blue Ridge, GA. He was born on April 10, 1951 in Cherry Log, GA to the late James O. Cochran and Retha Watson Cochran. Roger was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Cherry Log, GA. He was a carpenter for Connor Construction. Roger enjoyed motorcycle riding and was an AVID NASCAR FAN! He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Robert Quinlan Cochran.He is survived by siblings, Ann (Clifford) Stanley of Blue Ridge; Charles (Linda) Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA, Dale (Wanda) Cochran of Dalton, GA, Norman (Katherine) Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA, Donnie (Nancy) Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA, Ronnie Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA; and Linda Mae (Randy) Burgess of Blue Ridge, GA; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. James Worley and Rev. David Mashburn officiating. Music was by Pat Mashburn and Jim Stanley. Interment followed in the Young's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Jim Stanley, Brian Cochran, Danny Cochran, Johnny Cochran, J.R.
