Roberta Stepp Williamson, age 88, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Copperhill, Tennessee.

Born on July 28, 1937, in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Roberta was the cherished daughter of the late Chester Boyd Stepp and Georgia Arvilee McKinney Stepp.

A woman of strong faith, Roberta was a longtime member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Roberta had a true appreciation for the simple beauties of life, she especially loved gardening and flowers, finding peace in watching birds. Above all else, Roberta treasured time spent with her family, holding a special place in her heart for her precious grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her first husband, James Winford Williamson; second husband, Harold Bryan; and her brother, Chester Lee Stepp.

She is survived by her children, Patricia "Lynne" Whyte and James Michael "Mike" Williamson (Julie); her grandchildren, Dr. Benjamin Williamson and Nicholas Williamson; her siblings, Maeola Hughes, Martha Patterson, and Charles Stepp (Debra); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel, with Rev. Clinton Hughes officiating. Music was provided by Nancy Watkins and Joel Collis. Interment followed in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday afternoon, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
