Mr. Robert Verlon Williamson, age 71, of Tutletown, TN passed away on Sunday November 25, 2012 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Born in the Liberty Community of NC he was the son of the late Gordon G. and Millie Payne Williamson. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Herman, Walden, and Harlan Williamson and Eula Mae Adams. Mr. Williamson was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include his wife of forty nine years, Wilma Long Williamson; sons and daughter-in-laws, Keith and Debra Williamson of Turtletown, TN and Mark and Janie Williamson of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren, Anthony, Spencer and Rebecca Williamson; one sister, Recellia Bynum of Cartersville, GA.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 27, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Pallbearers will be Loy Williamson, Charles Hickey, Larry Cheek, Rick Boring, Steve Boring and Kenneth Boring. Interment will follow in the Liberty Community Cemetery.
