Mrs. Rita Sue Dillard, age 62, of Copperhill, TN passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Mrs. Dillard was born in Copperhill, TN to the late John and Lizzie Carter Dillard. She was employed with Blue Ridge Carpet as an Air Unit Operator. She was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by children, Troy (Missy) Dillard of Copperhill, TN, Theda (Michael) Whitaker of Cherry Log, GA, Rebecca Sue (William) Rhodes of Copperhill, TN; sister, Theda Simmonds of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Cal Dillard and Norman Dillard, both of Copperhill, TN; nine grandchildren, Brittany Whitaker, Whitney Whitaker, Trent Whitaker, Nikki Whitaker, Danielle Rhodes, Austin Rhodes, Dylan Rhodes, Steven Dillard and Katie Dillard; four great-grandchildren, Sheckler Whitaker, Diesel Ledford, Ryder Whitaker and Rylee Ledford. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack and Rev. G.W. Mathis officiating. Pallbearers include, Michael Whitaker, William Rhodes, Dee Mickens, Thomas Mickens, Nick Ledford and Austin Rhodes. Interment will follow in the Dillard Family Cemetery.
