Rion Creighton Henderson, age 44, of Morganton, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1982 in Snellville, GA. Rion worked for many years in the construction and electrical trades.

Rion is survived by his partner, Kimberly Bowyer; son, Grant Ezra Henderson; parents, Alton Creighton Henderson and Dana Lynn Hill Henderson; siblings, April Celeste Azar, James Alton Henderson, and David Creighton Henderson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Rion's life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the trust account of Rion's son, Grant. More information will be provided once the account is established.
