Richard Lee Shearer, age 52 of Carrollton, GA passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA. Richard was born in Marietta, GA on October 26, 1958. He was a screen maker and developer with Screen Print Unlimited, Inc. of Douglasville, GA. Richard was a very hard worker and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winona Wise Shearer.He is survived by his father, Billy Shearer of Carrollton, GA; three brothers, Charles Melvin Shearer of Douglasville,GA, Tommy Lynn Shearer of Carrollton, GA and Mark Jackson Shearer of GA; aunt, Marlene Nix of Copperhill, TN also survive.Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
