Richard Lind Johnston, age 66, of Epworth, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 17, 1956, in New Smyrna Beach, FL to the late John L. Johnston and Willia Mae Patterson Johnston. He was survived by his sister, Mary K. Johnston and special friends, Winona Walker, Whitney (Randy) Housley, Krista (Tyler) Bonds, Landon Housley, Konnor Housley, Mia Housley, Elsie Bonds, Mimi Bonds, and Evie Bonds. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Ricky Hicks officiating. Music was by Melissa Hicks, Melinda Walker and Mary Kate Dickey. Interment followed in the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Housley, Landon Housley, T.J. Dickey, Josh Dickey, Jonah Dickey, Austin Dickey, Tyson Walker and Tyler Bonds.
