Richard Merrill Bryant, age 79, of McCaysville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born in Haines City, FL, on May 7, 1944 to the late Lessie D. Bryant and Daisy May Little Bryant. Richard was a member of McCaysville Trinity Global Methodist Church. His passions were classic cars and fishing. When he was able, he had a wonderful voice and enjoyed singing at all times.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Pamela Marie Wortham; and six brothers.

Richard is survived by his wife, Harriette P. Bryant; daughters, Deborah Lynn Williams and her husband Bob, of Oxford, MS, and Theresa A. Williams and her husband, Mike, of Winter Park, FL; son, Andrew D. Armstrong and his wife, Krysti, of Homer, AK; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
