Rex Junior Kelley, age 76, of Epworth, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his home. Mr. Kelley was born in Jay, FL on October 23, 1942 to the late Alto Kelley and Rena Anderson Kelley. He was a talented Drywall finisher for over 40 years. Mr. Kelley was an avid bowler and loved playing Bingo and going on cruise ships. He was a member of Mobile Baptist Church, and was a United States Army veteran, having served in the United States Army. Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Elzadie Carden Kelley. Mr. Kelley was survived by his children and spouses, Sandra (Rickey) Chastain, Michael Kelley, and Valerie (Homer) Deal, all of Epworth, GA; brother, Jerry Kelley of Florida; sisters, Christine (Richard) Parent of Michigan and Carolyn Ann Allen of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Stillwell, Shane Kelley, Cheyanne Jones, Shawn (Hannah) Stillwell, and Nathan Kelley; three great grandchildren, Kyla Stillwell, Madalyn Stillwell, and Emma Stillwell; adopted granddaughter, Madison Stansfield; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Pallbearers weree Joshua Stillwell, Shawn Stillwell, Shane Kelley, Nathan Kelley, Bryan Stillwell, and Dave Harden. Honorary pallbearers were Leo Passi, Corey Hedden, Casey Crawford, and Stevie Cantrell. Interment followed in Mobile Church Cemetery.
