Rev. Ronnie Kimsey White, age 51 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away March 24, 2014 in Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Copperhill, TN on August 31, 1962. Ronnie had served Fannin County Fire and EMS for ever a decade. He was one of the first Cardiac Techs in Fannin County. He also served in numerous capacities during that time including: Assistant Rescue Chief, State Certified Fire Instructor and Public Safety Education. Rev. White attended the New Testament Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing and camping and anything outdoors. Ronnie was preceded in death by a brother, Robert White. Survivors include his wife, Shebra White of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Rebecca and husband Kurt Payne of Copperhill, TN and Amber White of Blue Ridge, GA; stepsons, Chad and wife Nichole Smith of Blue Ridge, GA and Kevin Quinton of ND; parents, Kimsey and Lula Nicholson White of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Terry and wife Cheryl of Epworth, GA; sister, Annette and Randy Dorman of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Brayden Payne, Taylor Smith, Makaila Smith and Wyatt Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Mull, Rev. Sammy Ledford and Rev. Kenneth Mann officiating. Music will be provided by Junior and Pauline White. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Richard Campbell,Jason Allen, Freddy Rice, Tommy and Jeremy Herndon. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as honorary pallbearers; Ron Hartness, Jimmy Harper, Jim Allen, Roger Allen, Rick Valley, John Wright and Mike Miller. The Fireman's Last Call will be provided the Fannin County Fire Department. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help defray final expenses.
