Rev. James Thomas Morstatter, age 70 of McCaysville, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Rev. Morstatter was born in Moweaqua, IL, to the late Delbert Leroy and Yvonne Millington Morstatter on June 3, 1937. He was a member of the McCaysville United Methodist Church and served his country in the United States Navy.Survivors included his wife, JoAn Morstatter of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Laurie Morstatter of Kansas City, MO, Thomas and Michelle Morstatter of La Crosse, WI, Matthew and Jennifer Morstatter of Watertown, WI; brother James Gandy of Angelton, TX; ten grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 21, at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. "T" Reamsnyder officiating. A Eulogy was given by JoAn Morstatter. Music was by Diane Hornsby. Pallbearers were Tim Morstatter, Tom Morstatter, Mat Morstatter, Danny Marshall, Mitchell Shelly and Andrew Morstatter. Interment followed in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
