Rev. Kenneth Jerry Mann, age 80, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, went home to be with his beloved Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Blue Ridge. He was born on February 11, 1944, in McCaysville, Georgia, to the late John Henry Mann and Beautell Ballew Mann.

Rev. Mann was a devoted servant of the Lord, having dedicated his life to ministry at the age of 27. He faithfully pastored churches across Fannin, Gilmer, and Murray counties, sharing the love of Christ with all who knew him. He was a member of Youngs Chapel Baptist Church, where his faith and leadership left a lasting impact on his community.

In addition to his ministry, Rev. Mann had a heart for service. He drove a school bus for the Fannin County School System for 12 years. He was also an owner and partner in his cabinet shop, where he enjoyed his work and used his talents to craft a variety of pieces.

Above all, he put the Lord and his family first. His life was a testament to faith, dedication, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Lee Mann, Charlie Mann, H.L. Mann, infant Buddy Mann, and infant Jack Mann; and sisters, Bessie Welch, Bonnie Shook, and Irene Rogers.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy Starks Mann; children and their spouses, Gail and Rob Denison, Jill and Pat Holloway, and Joel and Leslie Mann; grandchildren, Clay Holloway, Luke Holloway, Carter Mann, Miles Johnson, Oliver Weich, Joshua Denison, and Sabrina Denison; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Young's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Grayson Jones, Rev. Danny Kaylor, Rev. Wallace Parks, and Rev. Jackie Cochran officiating. Special music was provided by Tammy Kaylor, Brad Kaylor, and Breane Harper. Interment followed in the Young's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Clifford Stanley, Butch Shook, Charlie Cochran, Johnny Cochran, Gene Cochran, William McClure, Randy Burgess, Dean Whitaker, Junior Farmer, Larry Franklin, Danny McGill, James Young, Jr. Young, Gary Cochran, and Jeff Stanley.The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
