Mrs. Reba Culpepper Thompson, age 69, of Blue Ridge passed away Wednesday, September 03, 2008 in the Fannin Regional Hospital. Born in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Thomas and Hazel Collis Thomas. She was as member of Blue Ridge First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Culpepper of Blue Ridge; and sister Willamae Thompson. She is survived by her husband Lonzo Thompson of Blue Ridge; son and daughter-in-law, Shan and Kathy Culpepper of Blue Ridge; daughter, Kristi Carroll of Jasper, GA; stepsons, Ricky Thomson and Barry Thompson both of Temple, GA; stepdaughter, Sherry Goldin of Temple, GA; brother, Johnny Thomas of Mabelton, GA; 9 grandchildren, Courtney, Chase, and Cassidy Culpepper, Lundy and Levi Thompson, Chet Goldin, Tracie Crew, Morgan and Jake Thompson; and two great grandchildren, Emma Kate Goldin and Kensley Crew. Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 5, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from Blue Ridge First Baptist Church with Rev. J.D. Thomas, Rev Benny Thomas, Rev. Steve Goldin, Min. Terry Stuart, and Dr. Charlie Howell officiating. Music was by Imogene Stewart and Ione O'Neill. Pallbearers were be David Buchanan, Chris Crew, Chet Goldin, Greg Hampton, Lundy Thompson, and Levi Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Brock, Bency Turner, Jerry Hampton, and Larry Culpepper.
