Reba Louise Conger Horne, affectionately known as "Mimi" to those close to her, age 98 of Blue Ridge passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Blue Ridge, GA. She was born on November 22, 1919 in Tifton, GA, to the late Thomas Kibbee Conger and Mary Catherine Sumner Conger. Mrs. Horne was a member of the Words of Life Church in North Miami Beach, FL. She retired from Florida East Coast Railroad where she had worked as a Telephone Operator. Mrs. Horne was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brevard Horne.Mimi loved the Lord with all of her heart. She has touched and inspired many lives by sharing her love and trust in Jesus Christ. She was loved and adored by her six grandchildren. She was a loving Great-Grandmother to 13 and Great-Great-Grandmother to 8. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Louise (James) White of Blue Ridge and Mary Linda Tillman of Edmonton, KY; sisters, Joyce Wynelle Conley of Lake Placid, FL and Ella Grace Vest of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Johnny (Debbie) Miller, Scott (Hollyanna) White, Timothy White, Cheryl Cracknell, Lisa (Manny) Lozano, and Tiffany (Jeff) Silverberg; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Babb, Johnathon White, Amber Elder, Chris Jones, Staci Barfield, Andy Jones, Chloe Ingram, Katelyn Cracknell, Jaclyn Cracknell, Michelle Chamblee, Kelly Duane, Nina DiFiore, and Gianna DiFiore; great-great-grandchildren, Calen Babb, Madison White, Luke White, Devin Barfield, Drew Barfield, Ella Barfield, Alana Jones, and Elena Chamblee; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.A private graveside service was held at Scrougetown Baptist Church Cemetery.
