Mrs. Reba Joanna Gmeiner, age 87, of Ducktown, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born on August 13, 1933, in Copperhill, to the late Elmer Burger and Grace Johnson Burger. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a member of the bowling league in Blue Ridge and the Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Andrew John Gmeiner and sister, Joyce Trantham. She is survived by her sister, Jean Kennedy; brother, Charles Leland Burger; nieces and nephews, Ronald Burger, Marty Burger, David Trantham, Tim Trantham, Missy Taylor, Melinda Annis, Noel Kennedy, and Melanie Cochran; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating.
