Mrs. Reathel Mae (Mull) Holden, age 88, of Mineral Bluff, Ga., passed away Friday, January 30, at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Copper Basin, daughter of the late William Hobert Mull and Florence Hyde Mull, and wife of the late Roy A. Holden. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by two sons, James and T.J. Holden and two grandchildren, Brian Holden and Jeannie Holden.She is survived by two daughters, Loretta (Frank) Wright of Mineral Bluff, Ga., and Linda (Frank) Dixon of Epworth, Ga., four sons, Travis (Rachel) Holden of Morganton, Ga., L.G. (Jessie) Holden of Buchanan, Tenn. Harold Holden of Epworth, Ga., Ronnie (Louise) Holden of Flintstone, Ga., sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service were Sunday, February 1, at 2:00 PM from the Akins Chapel with Rev. Jack Buchanan officiating. Music was by Ed Vest. Interment followed at Fairview Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Dixon, Jonathan Heaton, Brett Rhodes, Brandon Wright, William Glenn Avery, and Benjamin Smith. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
