Reathel Mandy Bryan, age 93, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 31, 1929, in Ellijay, to the late George Washington Davis and Nora Millsaps Davis. Reathel was a member of Hipps Chapel Church. She was an avid gardener. Her favorite activity was trout fishing. Her pleasure in life was to cook for and serve others. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond "Buddy" Bryan, grandson, Kerry Walker, and nine siblings.

Reathel is survived by her daughters, Cathy Walker, Sue (Ernie) Carringer, and Carol (Joel) Walker; grandchildren, Matthew Walker, John Walker, Helen Walker, Aleasha Walker, Amanda Walker, Daniel Walker, and Adam Walker; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; special caregivers, Angela Ash and Ann Sparks, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. Reathel's family would like to extend their gratitude to the Pruitt Hospice team for their care and support as well.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be provided by Nancy Watkins and Joel Collis. Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alan Kea officiating. Pallbearers will be John Walker, Brandon Coots, Daniel Walker, Jaret Walker, Nathan Davenport, and Dellon Ash. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 2:00 PM. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.akinscobb.com.
