Randy Duke Young, age 68, of Blue Ridge passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Randy was born on October 4, 1955 in Blue Ridge to the late Johnny Robert Young and Bernice Stanley Young. He worked as an engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation. Randy was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Randy loved to piddle around, and with his artistic ability, he could create anything.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Young.

Randy is survived by his wife, Libby Young; children and their spouses, Neil and Heather Young, and Lorrena and Adric Wallace; grandchildren and their spouses, Rachel and Justin Smith, and Reagan and Josh Teague; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Smith and Skylan Smith.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the the Boardtown Church of Christ with Min. Cody Bearden and Min. David Mullins officiating. Music was led by Min. Shannon Bearden. Interment followed in the Stanley Creek Church of Christ Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Bruce Pack, Dean Whitaker, Harlan Conley, Chris Young, Gregg Henson, and Tommy Ward.
