Mr. Randal Dallas Bowers, age 92 of Ocala, FL formerly of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away October 9, 2022 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Fannin County, GA to the late Rev. Joseph Simpson "Sim" and Bervia Jane Pickelsimer Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a combat veteran of the United States Army and had served during the Korean War. He was of the Church of God Faith and a member of McCay Lodge #423 F&AM. He began working at the Tennessee Chemical Company in 1947, working in the mines as Railroad Engineer until his retirement in 1987. He was also preceded in death by his children, Janie Sue Bowers and infant Joe Bowers; siblings, triplets Pauline, Irene, and Christine Bowers, George Bowers, Andy Bowers, Rosabelle B. Pickelsimer, Almarie B. Wells, Edith B. Gilreath, Bill Bowers, and Ralph Bowers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 73 years, Helen Stanley Bowers; son, David Bowers; daughter, Brenda Arnold; grandchildren, Tammy Burger, Paul Rich, Jeremiah Bowers, Isaac Bowers and Rochelle Bowers; great grandchildren, Michael Jones, Jonathan Jones, Jacob Queen, Cade Burton and Lily Rich; great great grandchildren; Hayden Jones, Lyla-Faye Jones and Michael Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Bowers officiating. Michael Jones, Jonathan Jones, Jacob Queen and Paul Rich will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
